Hanibal Trek with Ian Botham, OBE |

He was heavily involved with fund-raising for the Leukaemia Research Fund. Following a cruciate ligament operation Bob completed the Hannibal Walk from Perpignan on 30 March to Turin on 19 April 1988 with Ian Botham. This included rafting the Rhone and crossing the Alps with a troop of elephants to raise money for the Fund.
The 500 mile walk included crossing the alps with a troop of elephants.
